Senior Accountant
Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting preferred
  • 2 – 4+ years of public accounting or relevant industry experience
  • Experience with Excel, Word, etc.
  • Knowledge of Quick Books preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Duties
  • Serve multiple clients as a Senior Accountant, to include but not limited to the following:
    • Serve as main point of contact for multiple clients
    • Prepare and maintain cash flow projections
    • Prepare annual budgets
    • Prepare and review all month-end closing journal entries and maintain reconciliations for all accounts as needed
    • Prepare monthly analysis around key metrics and benchmarks tailored to client specific needs
    • Prepare monthly financial statements, including designing and implementing financial reporting
    • Prepare or review bank account reconciliations, checks, and cash reporting
    • Review payroll for various clients
    • Review sales and use tax returns
    • Facilitate preparation of audit and tax
  • Supervise and train staff accountants, to include but not limited to the following:
    • Assist with time management to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Comply with government notices, licenses, registrations etc.
  • Should enjoy working with, meeting, and talking to clients on a regular basis
  • Participate in ongoing educational opportunities to remain current on accounting standards
  • Miscellaneous projects as they arise
  • Reports directly to a Client Services Manager
Staff Accountant
Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting preferred
  • Working knowledge of financial statements
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
  • Experience with Excel, Word, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Duties
  • Serve multiple clients as Staff Accountant, to include but not limited to the following:
    o Record journal entries
    o Reconcile various balance sheet accounts
    o Reconcile point‐of‐sale records to general ledger
    o Prepare bank account and credit card reconciliations
    o Record cash receipts and deposits
    o Process accounts payable (bill entry and payment)
    o Assist with monthly financial statement preparation
    o Prepare sales and use tax returns
    o Process annual 1099s and ensure W‐9s are on file for vendors
  • Miscellaneous projects as they arise
  • Reports directly to a Client Services Manger
